WARIO MAN

"Originally a mascot for Wario's Factory. One night, a man broke into the factory and climbed into the suit. He, after a failed attempt at stealing the secret recipe, murdered Wario and his friends. Continuing to search for the recipe, he was killed by Wario and friends, now posessed and brought back to life."

Wario Man (a.k.a Bruno Gate) is the the only active character in the introduction night of the game. He is only active on Night 0, then dies.

APPEARANCE

Bruno Gate's true appearance is a mystery, as the only time we see him is inside the Wario Man costume.

The Wario Man costume itself resembles Wario, but with pink clothing, a purple mask, purple gloves, and purple pointed shoes. the W emblem can be seen above the eye holes, and in the middle of the costume itself. The costume also has garlic symbols all over it. The costume also features a purple cape with Wario's face on it.

BEHAVIOR

Wario Man does not function under a traditional AI system. He is only active on Night 0, and then is never seen as an enemy in the main game.

PATHS

Wario Man has two paths he can take. He can take the left path (Lobby, Eatery, Storage Unit, Office Hall) and enter through the left door, OR he can take the right path (Backdoor, Control Room, Control Room (closer), Data Office) and enter through the right window.

ATTACKING

If he's at the left door or the right window, shut the corresponding door to make him leave.

LEAVING

If he leaves from the window or the door, he will pound on the door (unlike the rest) and reset. He can choose to take a different path when he resets.

KILLING THE PLAYER

If you fail to shut the door, Wario Man enters the office after pulling up the monitor or waiting too long. He will be seen behind the desk, however Wario Man confronting you has the same result as beating the night.

Alternatively, when the power cuts out, he can appear in your face, but this again causes the introduction scene to play. Wario Man is the only character in the game to not cause a Game Over.

FUN FACTS

Wario%20Man%20Icon_edited.png
  • Wario Man's coding is not dependent on an AI value, rather it is controlled by independent values.

  • Despite not having an AI, his speed does increase every time an hour passes on Night 0.

  • He is the only character to make static less transparent when he enters a room. If he's not in a room on Night 0, the static makes it nearly impossible to see the room.

  • Wario Man is the only character to also attack from both the left door and the right window.

  • Wario Man's posessed body appears in the main game as an easter egg, but it is incredibly rare, with 1/1000000000 (one billion) chance to see him on camera.

  • He also has a different ambient noise when encountered at the door or window when compared to Wario and Waluigi.

  • Wario Man, since he is alive and not posessed, is more intelligent and will attack way faster than Wario and Waluigi (unless they are set to a high AI level). This also applies to the power outage.

  • Wario Man's intro night is a remake of Night 6 in FNAW:O, where a similar cutscene plays at the end. Wario Man is able to kill you in the Origins version, however.

  • He is the only character in the game to not have alternate poses for each room he enters (except Peach)

BACKSTORY

Bruno Gate's backstory is a mystery. It is unclear why he wanted the recipe as well. Whatever the motivation was, he broke into the factory late at night, stole the Wario Man costume to use as a disguise, and tried to threaten Wario for the recipe in the Office (Night 0).

He enters anyways, and demands Wario for the recipe. Wario refuses to hand over the recipe, and tells him to get out of the factory.

Instead, Bruno Gate plans on killing Wario, before Waluigi, Mario, Peach, and Luigi enter the factory. Feeling cornered by the workers, Bruno Gate strikes toward Waluigi, Mario, Peach, and Luigi, and kills all four. Wario, shocked at what he just saw, was soon killed afterward by Bruno as well.

Bruno continued his search for the recipe after killing the five workers, not fully realizing what he had really done.

The worker's cursed souls posessed their dead bodies, and brought them back to life.

Bruno, confused by the sounds he heard, turned around to find the 5 worker's spooky dead bodies back to life. Shocked, he soon died by Wario, the man he killed to begin with.
